Optimist Club

SPOTLIGHT ON OPTIMISTS CLUB

A service organization focused on the needs of youth in the community, the Optimist Club has been a contributor to Stonehouse Park, the Little League, Summerfest and the library and computer programs at Cosumnes River Elementary School. On the Fourth of July the club provides free hot dogs and sodas for all kids at Lake Clementia. Fundraising includes OKC Corral and Trash ‘n’ Treasures.

The purpose of the Optimist Club Sacramento Foundation, Inc. is for charitable purposes for the benefit and enrichment of youth in the Greater Sacramento region. No part of the net earnings, properties or assets of this foundation shall inure to the benefit of any private person or individual or and Director or Officer of this foundation or club. The Optimist Club and its Foundation is operated and managed solely by volunteers.

The club meets at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursday at the CSD Building.
